We believe that as our kids discover more about Jesus, they will have a strong foundation & do the great things God has planned for them with their gifts and calling.

We have a heart to see our kids flourish - finding friendship and belonging. We want our kids to be like Jesus, with a heart for others, showing kindness and God’s love.

We want our kids to have FUN and be joyful!

We believe this vision is a prayer for many parents over their children and it's our heart to partner with families as they grow in their relationship with God. We hope you enjoy reading about our program, our locations and our heart for kids.

Meet our Kids Ministry Director
Charisa O’Connor
Hi, my name is Charisa!
Without a doubt, I have the most fun job in our Church as the C3 Kids Ministry Director.
I love finding creative ways for kids to learn about Jesus, make friends & have fun in Church! I have 2 kids, Benny & Lily and my husband Matt is our Worship & Creative Arts Pastor.
My favourite animals are dogs! I have a fluffy cavoodle at home named Stella - she is very cute!! I don’t love heights and have been stuck at the top of a giant slide once. I love eating pizza at the Italian Food Project, making ceramics, and spending time in creation.
I’m looking forward to meeting you at C3 Kids and saying hello!
What to expect at C3 Kids
General Expectations
Our C3 Kids program caters for kids from the stage of confident walkers, through to the end of Year 6.
Each part of our C3 Kids Worship Service is planned to help our kids in follow Jesus, make friends & have fun!
Our C3 Kids Services include kids praise & worship, group games, an engaging message from our bible-based curriculum and a chance to connect with friends.
We also run regular special activities and events for C3 Kids.
On Arrival
As a Church, we have a commitment to providing a safe environment for our kids. On arrival at the start of each service, parents will be required to sign their kids into our program. If you are joining us for the first time, welcome! First time visitors are also required to fill out a consent form so that we can better understand your child’s needs.
Our C3 Kids volunteers are known to us, have been through an application process, have references checked and have a validated working with children check. Our C3 Kids Volunteers can easily be identified as they wear a red lanyard with their name & working with children check ID on their tag. Please let one our hospitality team know if you need any help in finding our C3 Kids rooms or C3 Kids volunteers.
C3 Kids Curriculum
Our C3 Kids curriculum is bible-based, fun and relevant!
Each term we embark on a new theme with a heart to see our kids discovering more about God!
Our messages aim to teach kids about God, His character & how much He loves them.
Our team would love to partner with parents in praying and believing that our kids will be engaged in learning about God and as a Church we want to empower families to help their kids grow in their faith.
Each term in the C3 Kids Newsletter you'll discover an outline of the curriculum so you know what is being learnt each week and be equipped with Bible verses to read with your kids. We'd love to encourage you to follow along & continue the discussion at home.

Our Commitment
C3 New Hope is committed to providing a child-safe and child-friendly environment for all who attend our services and mid-week meetings.
We aim to ensure that children, families and staff have a safe and fun place to engage in Godly and meaningful relationships, receive and provide ministry and grow in their walk with Jesus.
The C3 New Hope Safeguarding Children & Young People Framework has been set in place to safeguard under 18’s in attendance, as well provide procedures & guidelines to those who provide leadership, and those who serve on teams.
